In June 2022, we rediscovered Magnolia emarginata, an endemic species to Haiti that was last seen 97 years before. Only a few plants were found in a small. fragment of forest. Planning for its conservation is underway.
In 2019 we published a first article describing three new species of Aristolochia for the island of Hispaniola. This is the first of a series of upcoming publications that includes genetics and a dozen more new species.
